Getting started


Take a deep dive first, then full steam ahead. Our trainee programmes are the perfect way to get started with Konica Minolta for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in particular a line of work after completing their studies or schooling. Over 12 to 18 months, depending on the trainee programme, you will learn about different departments and participate in special training courses, all with the support of a mentor. Then you will be perfectly prepared to get started in your chosen role. So, let's get started.
 

Which trainee position is right for you?

Sales or IT: What do you have your heart set on? Within these two areas, we offer you different trainee positions depending on our current requirements. See our vacancies for details of exactly which ones are available when you apply. You can also see which of our sites are currently looking for trainees. Depending on the programme, you may have a fixed location as a "home base" with the option of mobile working or you may work completely from home and be accompanied by your mentor to our customers' premises or on occasional business trips. Take a look at each vacancy to find out more. And by the way, the start time for your trainee programme is flexible too.

Learning on the job: How the trainee programme works

Our goal is for you to gain expertise. And get ready for your target role. We have created the perfect framework for this with our trainee programmes. This is what it looks like in specific terms:

  • You will gain experience in different departments in accordance with your trainee programme and therefore learn intensively about your future field of work. The length of time you will spend in each department depends on the department.
  • Seminars and training courses specifically tailored to you and your trainee programme will help with your professional and personal development.
  • During the entire duration of your trainee programme, a personal mentor will be by your side as your primary point of contact.
  • You will receive regular feedback.

Progress: Your prospects following the trainee programme

You're now perfectly prepared to get started in your target role, which hopefully is still your dream job. Following the trainee programme, you will immediately take on a responsible role within your chosen field of work. For example, as a junior account manager, junior consulting specialist or junior software developer. If your target role is not available at the end of the programme or you have your heart set on something else, we will try to find a solution. After all, we are facilitators and want you to stay with us. But all this is just the beginning of your career at Konica Minolta. Because progress is in our DNA. And there are many options as far as further development is concerned.
