Improved functionality and production flexibility is powered by Konica Minolta’s newly announced AccurioPrint C751i series. A number of environmentally responsible upgrades are also incorporated into the new series that will be available from September.
Aimed at the graphic arts market the AccurioPrint C751i with standard Fiery Controller ensures accuracy in colour reproduction and offers multiple colour management functions. Targeted at central reprographics departments (CRD) in areas such as corporate, local authority, law, healthcare, education, and membership organisations, the AccurioPrint C751i Flux comes with makeready software AccurioPro Flux Essential. It uses Konica Minolta’s print controller that delivers powerful workflow benefits offering full compatibility with print engine on-board job control and editing. Both systems succeed the AccurioPrint C750i and AccurioPrint C750i Flux respectively. They are designed to meet all functionality of a small-scale print shop or smart factory printing, all combined into a single unit. They offer an entirely digitised workspace, providing smooth workflow and managed content services. They print up to 70ppm in colour (75ppm mono) on paper weights from 52gsm to 300gsm.
The new additions feature an array of unique features including:
Simple set up eliminating the need for users to manage paper settings with a new media sensor that automatically detects the paper weight and type.
Broader application flexibility with support for recycled, coloured, and coated grades complementing plain, thin, thick substrates as well as envelopes.
Smooth throughput and the prevention of poor output quality with enhancements such as an improved output tray preventing paper jamming, paper curling.
Elevated user experience with an updated user interface. It groups apps and makes regularly used apps easily accessible, as standard. These apps are preinstalled and conveniently available from the operating panel.
Peace of mind with elevated security measures delivering greater protection against malicious activity and increased visibility and information of security related topics throughout the organisation. The BitDefender Antivirus option monitors all scanned files and documents transferred to and from it in real time while the Authentication Attack Detection function blocks brute force attacks.
Sustainable innovations have also been introduced. These include using recycled plastics for the systems thanks to advances in technology that enhance the strength and flame retardancy of waste plastics, while Konica Minolta’s new generation Simitri V toner has lower fixing temperature. The introduction of award-winning air cushion packaging has also greatly reduced the of Styrofoam as a packaging material for transportation. Environmental conditions have been improved, too. There is a 30% noise reduction during production aided by improvements in the cooling fan and enhanced document feeding with soft close and more silent operation. Air Cleaning Units Cleaning Units now include a filter and fan unit to become active filter solutions which positively impacts the operational space. Last but not least, the systems benefit from automatic installation of Workplace IWS App (and Background App) when they are connected to internet for the first time. It provides cost-effective 24/7 access to a marketplace of services including document translation, document conversion, cloud print and direct upload to cloud repositories - all from a single trusted source. “Konica Minolta is committed to making continual improvements that ignite printing possibilities across all systems in our progressive portfolio,” said André Statkus, Senior Product Manager, International Marketing Division, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe.
We are proud to innovate wherever possible to enhance the production capabilities of tried and tested systems that have already achieved significant market share will continue to support successful operations in the sectors they serve. These newest systems feature a wealth of enhancements that address challenges, streamline production, and extend capabilities.
