Konica Minolta introduces the new bizhub 4050 and bizhub 4750

Langenhagen, February 2014Konica Minolta is expanding its A4 product line by launching two new monochrome multifunctional devices capable of meeting enhanced customer demands within project, tender and Global Major Account businesses. Designed for medium to large workgroups, both of the new devices can be integrated seamlessly into workflows with Konica Minolta´s A3 devices. They incorporate various service features and ensure increased productivity as well as intuitive usability.High integrity
With similar functions, operations and usability to those of the A3 multifunctional printers, the bizhub 4050 and bizhub 4750 fit perfectly with projects including A3 and A4 devices plus related applications, enabling the combination of these systems into an integrated solution. Like Konica Minolta´s A3 devices, the two new printers in the bizhub family ensure a common user experience, for instance by mean of a 7-inch electrostatic colour touch display. This operational panel is smaller than the display of A3 MFPs but offers the same resolution and intuitive usability. Hence, as the slogan “Know one, operate many” suggests, there is no need to learn how to use a new device.Rich functionality
Both the bizhub 4050 and bizhub 4750 are highly sophisticated, supporting many advanced functionalities while reducing administrator, training and maintenance efforts. Important features include OpenAPI for seamless integration into workflows and compatibility with PageScope Enterprise Suite, which enables multi-device set-up and management or the remote support and update of firmware. The optional stapling function facilitates easy attachment of the stapler from the back of the device and stapling of up to 20 sheets per set.
Developed to lead the market in professional A4 monochrome devices and meet requirements for medium and high-speed printing, the bizhub 4050 offers a print speed of up to 40 ppm, while the bizhub 4750 reaches 47 ppm.More flexibility
For offices for which an A3 machine is too large but that require an extensive range of features, the two new devices are ideal as they fit diverse working environments. Thanks to their compactness, the multifunctional devices are able to fulfil the requirements of a compact desktop device, but they are also flexible enough to meet the demands of multifunctional work groups or departments.Since they are very easy to install, the bizhub 4050 and bizhub 4750 save time, allowing customers to start using the wide range of features immediately and thereby concentrate on their core business.
