The new bizhub C3100P’s high-performance controller and its colour and monochrome print speed of 31 ppm allow daily print jobs to be completed quickly and easily. It even maintains 100% of its print speed when printing both sides of the paper. The duplex unit is a standard feature of the bizhub C3100P: besides making the printer very compact, it also eliminates the need to turn the paper manually and prevents excessive paper consumption.Straightforward integration into existing systemsJust like Konica Minolta’s A3 multifunctional systems, the bizhub C3100P uses the latest Emperon controller technology and supports PageScope Enterprise Suite tools. This means not only that the colour printer can be used as a network system or directly at the workplace to make prints available quickly, but also that it can be easily integrated into larger, existing printing landscapes where central device monitoring and administration is required. As a result, the bizhub C3100P is a perfect complement to the large A3 output devices from Konica Minolta.The Konica Minolta tools for controlling the entire printer fleet also make system monitoring much easier. The bizhub C3100P can be monitored in the same way as the A3 multifunctional devices, facilitating simultaneous monitoring and maintenance of all devices and thereby keeping administrative overheads to a minimum. The possibility of integrating the printer into CS Remote Care as an interface to the Konica Minolta service organisation also simplifies device maintenance with several services such as the automatically forwarding of service calls.Flexible use according to customer requirementsThe bizhub C3100P can be used in a variety of situations depending on the customer’s needs and can be adjusted to meet individual requirements. Besides the options of integration into existing printer fleets and system monitoring, for instance, an additional security feature can be added to facilitate printing via ID card authentication. The Authentication Manager is an essential part and parcel of Konica Minolta’s MFPs, which is now also available for the new colour printer and allows administrators to manage different security devices or to assign usage privileges to various users and workgroups.
Furthermore, the printer can be extended by additional functions such as barcode printing or Unicode fonts. Therefore the printer’s immense versatility not only enhances efficiency but also maximises customer satisfaction.Environmentally friendly technologyWell-known certificates such as the Blue Angel Mark or the Energy Star allow environmentally conscious companies in particular to use the corresponding devices daily in the office with a clear conscience. However, the bizhub C3100P also inspires confidence in other respects: the system’s energy consumption is very low, particularly in sleep mode, where the expenditure is just three watts.
